      She scooted back in her cushy chair. As she did, his gaze followed her movement, almost as if he wanted to undress her and was trying to decide how to do it. When he realized she watched him, he glanced down then stiffened visibly. His long fingers curled into fists and his body moved slightly toward her.

     Bree looked to see what had captured Steven's attention. Her magazine sat on the coffee table at a half angle where both of them could clearly see the photograph of the man licking his way down the woman's body. Horrified that she had tossed the magazine opened to that page, she jerked upright.

     A slow hiss escaped his lips, and he looked at her with a question in his eyes.
